I have used zoom for a veritey of applications. Really amzed by this versatile device. I have used it as a mic external interface for my mobile video recording. recorded my church choir with this.. and even recorded some band practice sessions.. awesome performance.. With the right settings you will be able to get a while lot out of this..
It's a great mic with superb pick up! However, it catches every sound around you and will definitely need to be used with much padding in a sound controlled room, if case use is to record Voice alone.

It is the most convenient recording equipment in it's price band. Does an excellent job at 24bit/96k quality. Useful for outdoor environmental noises as well as sensitive indoor quieter noises. We also used this one to record vocals for a song cover and it picked up vocal inflections and expression really neat. It is the best piece of equipment for portable records, given it's feature of variable speed playback and on board limiter. Go for it.
m using it for recording the interviews... but 1 problem is this it is not going on pause ...if available than say it to me.
