Description
For over two decades engineers have reached for the Renaissance EQ because it solves problems. The neutral unbiased sound means that any changes made to your tracks happen because you set the controls to make those changes—not because the EQ imposed its own sound on your settings.
What’s more the clean multipoint touch-friendly interface (with 3 different skins) is a joy—see all band parameters at once or focus on a single band. No wonder this EQ has stood the test of time. From Lowest Lows to Highest Highs Unlike some EQs no band is limited to a specific range—every equalizer band spans the audio spectrum from 16 Hz to 21.357 kHz.
The gain extends all the way to ±18 dB and Q is variable from 0.71 to 1.41 dB/octave. Analog Curves All bands can do the expected bell and shelf responses. However the low and high bands can also be filters—or choose from a resonant shelf option which recalls the response curves of vintage analog EQs.
