This is a solid, powerful nearfield monitor that delivers a punch. Designed and made in India, this is a proud moment for any Indian. The speakers are well built and heavy and this reflects in the bass and mids very well. The highlight of these monitors are the way they reproduce mids. Effortless and clean, vocals and string instruments come through beautifully with a natural resonance to it. The highs while well pronounced and detailed are not very sharp as some of its competitors. This is great for extended periods of listening and mixing without fatigue. I went through all genres including jazz, hip-hop, classical, rock and even some Bollywood thrown in. At no point did I need to use the equalizer, or use the dip switches at the back. Though if you are setting this up against a wall, you may want to roll off the bass somewhat. Speaking of which, bass heads may find the low frequency response slightly low which is expected from a studio monitor. For extended lows, its recommended to invest in a subwoofer. Overall, my verdict is that these are sweet sounding, and very listenable especially if your content is vocal and mids focused. One of the best sounding and musical studio monitors at this price point.
