The cymbals are nice but you shouldn't expect great sound from brass cymbals. Paiste although makes affordable cymbals with best value for your money but I wouldn't recommend this one for gigs.

This is currently the only crash cymbal that justifies it's price :) I say that with all honesty. Having played on various cymbals over the years, this really stands out as a winner.
