Most comfortable guitar with beautiful sound, body, and everything about this guitar. Its an Iron label though obviously its a perfect guitar.
I have had an Ibanez GRG model for the last 7 years and I was looking for an upgrade and after a month long research, ended up buying this baby. The EMG 60/81 pickups are the best I have heard in my life and for metal, it doesn't get any better than this. The EMG 60 produces a fatter sound which is perfect for cleans while the EMG 81 will make your guitar a screaming beast. Harmonics, Squeals, etc are a breeze after i got this guitar and the Edge Zero II bridge is even better than the original flyod rose system. The guitar doesn't have fret inlays which may be a problem for beginners but they look sick. For the money, if you are looking for a metal guitar that is also very versatile, just close your eyes and buy this thing blind. Bajaao delivered it in about 5 days, which was incredible but the free cable is a defective one.
The guitar was delivered to me by Bajaao and it was quite evident that they had taken great care in inspecting the product. However, it took Bajaao 3 weeks to ship the guitar to me which was quite painful. The action was perfect and all the hardware looked sturdy and in place. The kill switch could have been of better quality, the way it is at the moment its almost impossible to use. The screw around it keeps getting loose and the switch keeps revolving. The guitar has an aggressive tone, but can be mellowed down as well. The bridge is top notch, way better than the licensed floyd rose on my RR3. The pickups are pretty good, although I do have a feeling that blackouts would sound better with this particular guitar. The sound often lacks "meat" the way it is now. The neck is super fast and really smooth. For the price, there is not much else that you may want instead. This definitely is a good buy!
I wanted to buy a guitar in the 40-50K price range which was reliable and well built. Then I stumbled upon this guitar, the features which instantly attracted me was that this guitar didn't have too many bells and whistles and had high quality hardware and a very normal look. It is packed with EMG 60/81 which is the set Hetfield uses and is extremely useful for playing metal and prog. It has an Edge Zero II bridge without the ZPS which is extremely stable and handsdown better than the licensed floyds found in Schecters and Ltds in this range. The hardware on this guitar is very sturdy and it looks reliable enough for gigging. The neck profile is slim as on most Ibanez guitars(it's a nitro wizard neck). The fretboard has no inlays and it looks extremely cool, though it might be a problem for amateurs. All in all I'll definitely recommend this guitar.
