Well i would like to keep it simple and short. If you are only looking for heavy and sturdy tones, just go for it. These strings have massive lower stings that would be very tough to bend at normal e tuning. But if you will drop it down to D or C, you could get the best of it. Please note if you like to bend your lower strings too much while playing, these strings are not for you. You should probably go for the 42 or 48. 52 is just to hard/heavy. High strings are smooth and easy to bend compare to low strings. If you are a metal player and generally like to play heavy riffs on drop tunings and can easily handle the thickness of the lower strings, than go for it. If your are a solo guitarist which loves to bend, squeal strings too much, these are not for you. Also if you are an amateur guitarist, you will find these too hard to play. Thanks
Provides a heavier tone, good for the drop tunings.
Very good strings
The best strings out there for crunch and leads and drop tunings..... Pretty good clean tone as well, but really we are here for the metal stuff.
I love the feel of the Ernie Ball. The balanced tension just seems more "right" for me because I like using the same amount of tension on all my strings
Power, Sustain, Tone and Durability.
Incredible set of strings these are. Vibrant, Warm, rich and crushing in tone.Use it in a Drop C tuning. And its bonkers. Cleanest to the clean, meanest to the mean tones are deliverd with absolute clarity and POWER. Highly highly highly recommend.
Good price
it is awesome to use these strings
Good Quality Strings from Ernie Ball!
