I upgraded to this from a midrange Yamaha after learning on it. The distinction is significant! This guitar has a stunning appearance and sound. There is an a plenty of resonance, responsiveness, and surprising low ends. The guitar's construction appears to be of a high standard, and the case that comes with it appears to be suitable.
I just got this today. My lovely wife gave me this as a gift for our anniversary. L oved it immediately plays well out of the box. Incredibly well crafted good fit and finish. Bright but complete tonality. I own a Washburn, a Martin, and a Taylor. However, this is my first Parkwood, and I must say I'm quite impressed.
I selected this guitar because it had comparable specs to the Martin I wanted, the same body shape and size, and the same tone wood, and I'm blown away by this Parkwood. It offers a pleasant, well-balanced tone with just the right amount of low end, in my opinion. Daddario strings are what I'm using, and they go well together. If you want a superb guitar that is fairly priced, this is a great option because it has the quality and tone of a guitar that costs twice as much.
