Kudos for Bajaao for making this delivery 100% hassle-free (not a single phone call), the package arrived in exactly a week in perfect condition.
The Ibanez carton box and flight case was in pristine condition.
The craftmanship on this work of art is DREAMLIKE! Trust me the pictures don't do justice, you have see it and feel it in person to truly appreciate.
The action setup was perfectly setup as stated on the Ibanez website, the guitar comes with 9-42s tuned standard - perfectly tuned and intonated.
Superwizard HP neck is something new to me and probably the best neck as I have played on it for 2 days, feels so silky, smooth and sleek.
First of all, i wanted to address the delivery times from the order placement till the order was received and my god did it take a lot of time. At first the website had said that the order would be dispatched within 48 hours, but this was not the case as the product itself was not confirmed to be in inventory in the warehouse for 5 days. I had follow up many time to get a confirmation on it since the payment was already made but CC assured me that the product would be dispatched as per their final date. Secondly, Fedex was used for dispatching the items and they also take their sweet time delivering the items to my place. The items were in the Local Fedex facility for 2 days until i had to constantly call the customer care people in order to resolve the issue.
Finally when i got the product, i would say that the packaging was done excellent. I was concerned if the items would be damaged during transit as i had opted for normal delivery but all my fears were the opposite. The guitar comes in a hardcase which is not mentioned in the page. The quality of guitar being in a Prestige series is phenomenal. First thing is to always change the strings and clean the frets as due to staying inside the case must have accumulated some sort of dirt. After some elbow grease and a fresh pack of strings, this thing plays beautifully. The floating bridge is something i will need to get used to since i have always used guitars with standard bridges.
Final thing is to say that this won't be my final guitar to my collection and will surely buy other guitars from the website. Bajaao if you're hearing this, please make some options for a faster delivery time as i don't mind paying extra.
