I like to call it string lube, you can do without it, but once you go slick, you'll never go raw. Smooth as butter.
I did a lot of research before getting this and I have to say it does as it advertises. The smell is a little weird at first but then it kind of grows on you. Just dont apply too much of it otherwise the strings get sticky and a bit unplayable.
