Let's play. Okoume Neck & Walnut Fingerboard: The neck and fingerboard of the Dao ukuleles are made from African okoume and Walnut. It’s a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well. We have also updated the fingerboard with fancy abalone fret markers to make this uke really stand out among its sisters in the Supernatural series.

Mesmerising grain. Dao Wood: We use gorgeous laminated dao for the NUC340. Dao is the wood of many names: Paldao (also known as Paldoa) or Dracontomelum dao, and is a heartwood from South East Asia, greyish-brown with a slightly green cast and distinctive dark streaks, ranging from brown to black. Dao produces a lively, warm tone, and is tonally similar to mahogany.
