I host events, karaoke parties etc and I got this mic set almost 1.5 yrs back locally for a much higher price and finally stumbled across these online while looking to purchase a backup set. These have amazing sound quality and when compared side by side with Shure wired mic I could not tell much difference in the sound quality or notice any drop in l sound as well. The external construction of the mic is plastic but seems durable. The head is a rugged metal wire head and feels sturdy. Bajaao seems to be selling these at a very reasonable price. I would also recommend the extended warranty which Bajaao offered me while buying the 2nd pair.
