The valencia VC304 is quite decent if you want to take up classical guitar. The construction is nice
The guitar has nice machined heads. the Rosette is quite attractive and the antique sunburst looks plush. However, the tonatily is average. The strings are quite old and bass strings already show signs of aging. The treble strings are just terrible. They cannot sustain their 'ring'. My high E string keeps getting out of tune. Will have to change the complete string set for a decent tonal range.
There were no problems with the action of the guitar when received, and the body had no physical defects. Bajaao, however, did not excel while shipping this. The guitar box had no fragile sticker. The box did not have any protection apart from a small and inadequate bubble wrap support.
My guitar body came with a minor scratch in the sides.
If you want to start out with minimal investment, this can be a good option. However, if you can spend more, go for the Yamaha C80, Ortega Student series, or the Cordoba beginner series.
