This single bridge pickup, turned my shitty Squier affinity strat into a fire breathing monstrosity. Although the mid frequency response leaves a little to be desired, it’s nothing you can’t fix with the mid control on your amplifier/pedal. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, as I’ve been using P90 pickups for quite some time on my other guitar. Those are known for their mid-range bite. Overall, I’m more than satisfied with this pickup. If you’re wanting to upgrade your cheap strat copy, this is definitely the pick-up for you.
Tip: Take both the tone controls out of your strat circuit, leaving only the volume control. This will give you a higher gain output and a sparklier top-end response on all your pickups.
It is like expected. And though the guitar pickup has a box with a spongy material to prevent it from any shock. Bajaoo sealed the box with extra soft material for security.. Everything was perfect for me
