very useful MIDI Controller

It's a really good controller keyboard. Not one to take on your next world tour perhaps, but for home, school and project studios it's just about ideal. The keyboard is good and the onboard system for assigning MIDI messages to controls is easy to use but flexible. The Automap capability will be a huge draw for some users, but using Automap is by no means compulsory. If you're on the look out for a new DAW controller, this deserves to be near to the top of your shortlist

Arpeggiator and Ableton 'clip' launching features.ConsSome bugs integrating with Logic.VerdictThe Impulse is well featured, though Automap 4.1 has a bug with third-party plug-ins using Logic. Other than that, we have no hesitation recommending it.

Good with only issues with Auto map

The Novation MIdi keyboard is nice installation was easy the buttons and feel of the drum pads are excellent. Sliders are a little to soft and plastic like but handle well. Only complaint is the Automap software it pretty much useless unless your using Albeton Lite(included) not compatible with most DAWS I use FL Studios and automap does nothing but luckily FL had auto contoll for most vst functions. All and all worth the money and a well rounded product I'd recommend!
