M Audio BX5 D2 monitors are simply excellent...! The build quality is robust, hence these are durable. People complain about bass being low, but it is not very true.! You can hear the Kick & Bass perfectly.! And the high frequencies sound very crisp & still smooth.! It will not irritate your ears. These are very supportive for long-hours works.!!
great sounding speakers by m-audio..delivering quality products without the extra hype and marketing gimmicks used by other brands. trust me, I have heard many speakers and can safely say that these will meet the requirements of most home studio enthusiasts. looks wise they will add to the aesthetic appeal of any studio. extended frequency response that provides good range for most genres and styles of music. my only gripe would be the lack of accurate low frequency reproduction but then again at this price range its a steal. go for it without a doubt - the best in class and range.

These speakers are amazing. I produce music, and I needed speakers with accurate sound output. well, the sound quality issuperb and very deep. I can hear every little detail I'm working with, and I'm satisfied with what I got for the price I paid.One thing I would consider when buying, though, is the output of bass. The bass produced by the speakers is very tight, so itworks better on higher frequencies of bass; I produce hip hop music so the type of bass I'm working with is mostly on a lowerfrequency than with other genres, I usually have to turn the volume up louder to hear the lower frequency bass.
These speakers made my PC the favorite spot in my home! High definition tracks in 96/24 sound beautiful. They look really elegant.Don't expect a lot of punchy bass, they are intended for clear sound.
