Yes , It Is A Good Flat Response Headphone. I Am A Keyboard Programmer, Composer And Also A Sound Engineer.I Am Using AKG K271 MKII About 10 Years.Many Works And Movies Already Done With This Great Headphone. Still It Working Fine. Body Almost Made By Plastic. I Mean, Good Chance For Cracking (First One Already Cracked Slightly). Auto On Off Switch And Gold Plated Connectors Are Good ThingsThis Is My Second Purchase From Bajaao. Thanks To Bajaao For The Best Offer And Discount For The Precious Headphone. Some Difference Noticed When Compared The First One And The Second One1)Logo Plates Color Is Dark Blue(Very Dark And Almost Black) In Old AKG. But Logos Are Bright Color (Blue ) In New AKG2)Coil Cable Quality Is Different , I Think New One Is More Good, Actually My Old Coiled Cable Is Tangled (Not Long Lasting).Normal Cables (3M Long Cable) Are Good And Still Working Fine3)Leather Ear Cups Are Different.Old Is Hard And New Is Very Soft.Velvet Cups Are Same.4)Made IN Austria' Is Labeled On The Old Headphone's Left Side, But There Is Nothing Marked On The New One's Left Side (Totally Blank)... It Is Made In China(Designed And Engineered In Austria)
I have owned the K271 original model as well as the new MKII for many years and its almost difficult for me to part with these in the studio. They always seem to just sound right to me. Fatigue-free sound but very neutral and great comfort. I can wear them for hours. Stellar dynamic range and no noise. I love them!
