That great Gretsch sound

Packaging was good. Shopping was fast.
The guitar is just perfect right out of the box. Looks very robust and a vintage Gretsch tone. Stays in tune even after playing for a long time. The guitar is very addictive. Best hollow body at this price point. Perfect for blues and jazz.

Gretsch G2420 Streamliner - CAUTION!! Addictive Guitar!!

Let me start by saying that I was a bit disappointed by Bajaao at first as I was not informed of the import so I didn’t expect the long delay. But given the COVID conditions it was nothing unexpected. That being said, the delivery and packaging was top notch. So was the action and tonality, which is saying a lot as this guitar has a moving bridge that comes off fully. Now, the guitar. It looks KILLER!! It’s beautiful in the Brooklyn Aged Burst which is the one I have and recommend. The tone is just heart touching. I play it mostly clean as I like soft blues and blues fusion and also a lifelong piano player. I use an old Silvertone amp from very early 2000s as it has a very warm sound which compliments the guitar. It also has a very fuzzy overdrive which I like and makes the guitar sound very thick. I did not feel the feedback is uncontrollable in this as I can get very long sustain and minimal feedback with setting the tone controls and gain right. But when you increase the gain beyond 7 it becomes a monster. Perfect for Black Keys and White Stripes stuff if you are playing guitar alone with just a drummer or a drumtrack. It is a beautiful sounding acoustic guitar as well and is comfortable to play for a long time without connecting. All in all, it is very difficult to put down once you pick it up, although sometimes you would just want to not play and just watch it
