after reading the reviews on the invader humbuckers i was sold on the idea they would be a good fit for my sound, and they actually might be but i wont be able to find out, why? i own 3 different ibanez 7 string guitars and these pick ups simply won't fit in any of them, the invaders are thicker than the stock pickups and also have the "L" bracket style backing plates. Combining both these issues make it so it is impossible to mount these pickups in a ibanez without modifying the guitar or the pickups.
