These strings do have a bit more tension than the usual D'addario /Ernie ball strings you'll find. They have less volume output too. After I put these on my Fg800 the sound was noticeably reduced. If you play fingerstyle, it's a bit hard to get the desired volume, at least compared to trusty D'addarios. Anyways, the good thing was that strings don't get dull that easily. Retained the sound characteristics even after a long time, and didn't rust. That's great. Since, in Covid19 situation D'addarios ain't available here, will have to work with these in this price range.
