The guitar was very good as I expected it to be, the delivery was quick although it arrived before it's scheduled date and packaging was nice and doesn't had any single scratch on it , when I plugged the guitar into amplifier it sounded amazing farther than my expectations..thats all I can say
Ordered it some months ago.Perfect for people who are on a budget and cant afford mexican strats.Vintage modified series along with the Classic Vibe are the best squier strats and at times even better than mexican strats. The pickups are good.I play it on my mustang 2 amp and it is decent and I've also tried it in jam rooms on tube amps and high end solid state amps and the guitar just felt perfect.
Pros1.The pickups are the best feature of this guitar and so is the neck.2. the jimi hendrix style headstock looks awesomeCons1. After using this for a year i found that it does'nt stay in tune for a long time - major drawback2. The tremelo arm is a complete wasteOverall- cant ask for much at this price, so yeah a good guitar if u r somewhere between begginer to intermediate.
It's a perfectly proportioned and well-made Strat that feels Fender all they way. Neck feels right. The trem-block could have been better, but all Squier Strats have that skinny zinc alloy block. The Duncan Designed SC-101s do a good job and perform admirably and with very little noise.Finish was perfect, though the frets were kind of dirty, but after using a fret polishing system, everything was perfect.Overall plays and sounds like a pro-level guitar for so little and with budget materials. The Squier Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster is of good value and a great instrument to play.
