I bought this set as an experiment to see how well it'll do in winter. Will update after a month for full in depth review of how it fares.
These are by far the most decent set of strings that i have bought. I used set of fender 9's before, in comparision ernie ball 11's sound denser than any other strings. Strings feel smooth and have a nice ring to it. As the gauge is thicker, it is absolutely suitable for those who switch between acoustic guitars and electric guitars, and they would hardly feel any difference.The only noticeable negative part is that there are some kind of stains on the lower strings, 11 14 and 18. It is not rust but just some kind of brown stain on certain sections of the string, dont know what it is but they dont effect the play.Highly recommended for intermediate players who like playing rock, metal. I think these are only strings u should use if u love AC/DC !Cheers
