The action on the guitar as shipped was way, way too high. I loosened the truss rod and lowered the bridge height, but had to finally go to a professional technician to get it set to "low-action & no buzz". Each time it is tuned, the action becomes high. Cheap wood, cheap finish, especially on the bridge humbucker pickups. If you're a beginner-to-intermediate player, do yourself a favour, go to a store and test and buy a Fender Squier or Epiphone Les Paul. This Vault will ruin your wrist and the joy of learning guitar. As others have mentioned, the Laney amp is adequate (and quite loud). Pickups are powerful and toner settings are good.
