it has a pretty good tone and the pickups are pretty good as well, it would be better if the guitar came with Dimarzio crunch pick ups but the guitar also comes with a plus 12 dv boost on the volume knob, the trim has a good feel and it holds tune really, overall I think it is a good guitar and I would recommend going for it.
