Privia got it right

About Digital Piano keybed:The primary purpose of buying a digital piano is for the graded(scaled) weighted hammer action. If one can afford it, invest on a fully weighted keybed (instead of non-weighted keyboards with plenty of knobs and tones) right from the early learning years. About Casio Privia: I recently was able to test out (in a local music store) the weighted keybed feel of about 12 models (Yamaha/Korg etc) of D.pianos of similar segment category side by side. I had seen commendable reviews on Youtube about the Privia triple sensor II touch feel given by pianists. In my opinion, I found it to be pleasantly true. Privia felt the best of the lot close to the acoustic grand piano feel. The PX-160 being the entry model in the Privia series has the same Keybed of all other higher models. A big thumbs up to Casio for that!!Privias offer the 3-pedal connector (for the optional Casio SP-33).Privias have Class-compliant USB MIDI Connectivity. .connects with iPad /Mac/PC. My son is already progressing fast on simply piano iPad App from scratch!! (via lightning to camera adapter) Onboard tones are good. The wooden stand is a class act from Casio ... like it!!. The Casio bench also came with it :)Most important for us Indians: Casio offers 3-year warranty. Clap clap!!Bajaao:Glad to purchase from Bajaao. Friendly over the phone, knowledgeable, great offers, super quick delivery via FedEx thanks, guys!!Cons: No TRS exp pedal input (would have been great).

Great Beginner Piano, for Students.

Regarding Bajao.com everything came well packed, and there was no damage during shipping. As for the product, this is probably the best Beginner piano money can buy. It has 88 fully weighted hammer action keys, which emulate a real acoustic piano. The PX160 also has emulated ivory keys which does not feel cheap to use. The sound of course is not as full as a Yamaha, and does not even come close to a Roland product, but those products cost a lot more too. I say if you want to purchase a perfect piano to begin your lessons go for this product, use it to learn, for atleast 2 years, and then buy a real Acoustic piano from Yamaha, like the U3.

Good instrument, shaky stand

The actual instrument is solid - great feel and sound, not too heavy and perfect for my requirement. The free accessories are a bit of a disappointment - the stand is very shaky, as is the bench. Would be a perfect deal if Bajaao sold the piano standalone at a lower price. Packaging and delivery was quite prompt. Strange thing - Casio does not allow you to register product on the website till a month after the purchase. Tip - if you're planning to use headphones for practise, get one with decent drivers, makes you appreciate how good the sound engine is and makes you want to play more.

Decent Digital piano

This is my first digital piano, earlier I used Ctk 850 in. So, I am not experienced with digital pianos. Based on my research, I found this to be the best bang for buck. Built quality is good, key action is weighty and sound is awesome with head phones. I am slightly disappointed with in built speaker sound. I used it for more than a week, my rating would be 4.5 out of 5.
