The Gen2 has satin back fretboard and smooth lacquer fret board which makes it super smooth to play. The pre-amp is absolutely fabulous and helps you adjust sound on stage as well as get the sound type you want. It has tone/mid frequency selector/pick-up selector/pick-up balance/treble/bass and overall volume. The sound is absolutely good considering the price, you can get a rounded sound or the aggressive growl if needed. Must buy!
