The review is for The Presonus Eris E66 listed under Open Box
The product was listed as pair and I purchased it. When it was received, I was shocked to find that there was only one active monitor and not a pair.
Further the one I received was faulty as the tweeters were not working and the product package was in battered condition. I can only presume that this was returned by a customer and was relisted as open box.
The Bajaao helpdesk clarified that there was an error in listing and they had only one piece in open stock. If the listing was really for one speaker, I wonder how it was priced even higher than MRP, especially as it is open box.
I immediatley applied for return which was accepted by Bajaao, but the product was not picked for over 2 weeks inspite of my daily reminders. They kept stating that their logistis partner Delhivery was delaying due to Covid.
Untimatelty with no other go, I took the risk of shipping it back to Bajaao as my money of almost Rs. 50,000 was held with them.
But to theit favor, they retruned the invoice amount within 24 hours of delivery of he parcel in their office. They subseqently also refunded the full courier cost of Rs. 1,800.
But I am shocked to see that the damaged speaker with non working tweeters is listed again under the Open Box sales section.
I caution customers to not but this open box Presonus Eris E66 as its tweeters are faulty.
Overall it was a mixed experience and I am not sure if I would buy again from Bajaao, defenitelty not "Open Box' items as it is unethical and dishonest to list items that are defective.
