I'm here to review the tomato red soprano kala waterman ukelele. I purchased on 7th July and its more than 1 week passed now and finally reached to me. The packaging of the bag was nice. The ukelele box was already opened with no seal and covered in baajao carton box including some bubble wraps. The instrument came well packed with no scratches anywhere as I checked properly. I got a quick starter guide, aquilla string company ticket, a tote bag to carry the uke, baajao offer document, buying bill and the ukelele itself. Below or above I've attached photos and you can notice it. If you want a beginner string instrument espicially a plastic ukelele then you can go for this one. Though its made of polycarbonate material the sound is very very great and nearly like a wooden uke one. Don't take it as a cheap or a toy. It will be good for children who are starting to learn their first musical instrument and if the budget is also average. At the time of order its price was Rs. 2725 including shipping charges of Rs. 150 or something I just forgot.
The delivery may take a week or more based on distance. For me it got delivered from Mumbai to Assam. I was doubtful about the delivery because there were no updates since 3 days so I emailed bajaao helpdesk and they helped me to clear the doubt and gave me its latest location update. My package was delivered by Ecom express courier service and thankful to them as well. After placing the order you get a tracking number on baajao track order section and you can track the package by searching via the courier service website tracking panel.
And one thing the colour, its like a orangy type and matte soft finish. Its not totally red. You will like the colour its not that bad. I've attached the photos with no edits and the video has the sound you can listen. I tuned it and recorded. Awesome instrument.
So once again thank you to Baajao store for their wide range of musical products and delivering to customers.
My sister, a singer /song writer /guitarist found the moulded tone of my ukelele interesting and useful for her future works. So we got the second uke in good condition as well. The silver paint on the frets act as a guide to how often you practise as it comes off easily but I've been playing for a while now and the silver lining of this cloud is that i liked my uke better without the paint and so i was motivated to keep playing.
