I had been using Fender Mustang GT100 for sometime, but since I play mostly at home I have changed to this GTX50.
I love the presets, they include a wide array of guitar sounds across all genres. But then I mostly download my choicest fx for a particular song or project via its inbuilt Wifi & Bluetooth.
You can choose between different amps, cabinets, etc. It is a super versatile combo.
Since only GTX100 comes with footswitch, I purchased a 4-button footswitch (MGT4) which made selecting and changing presets much easier, also for looping!
If you ask me it’s way better than Boss Katana 😁
Fender Mustang GTX 50 230v Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier
The GTX50 is all you could ever want from a guitar amplifier. You name it..... it's there (maybe hidden). With over 180 varied presets, you end up playing all, as they all are superb. And you can fool around to make adjustments to your liking and saving them too ! Loud ? You can wake up not only your building but also those in the next building. Actually I was to go for the Tone Master costing 1.25 L, but when I heard GTX50, I saw that this one took care of all my desires and need for sound. Go for it guys....you won't need another amp .
The amplifier is really good. It sounds awesome. The app is good on iOS. I could connect to it from the app, play along. It has got tons of options and it’s good. Only problem was the Power cable created a lot of noise and once I replaced it with an another SMPS cable it was not there and it sounded great.
