This is ONE KILLER MICROPHONE, for all those who like that warm tube sound without spending crazy amounts of money! This mic is built like a tank and very heavy duty, as all AKG's ive seen. The sound is extremely clean, with a smooth low end. It sounds well rounded and gives the natural character and expression without sounding too processed. I guess its the magic of the tubes doing all that smooth mids which i fell in love with.i doubt you can get a batter branded tube for this low price. Removed 1 star cause i found the packaging case a little flimsy even though mic is rugged.
