I've been using this interface for past 15 days to record guitar using amp sims. This interface works best if it is running on behringer's own driver ,I had a hard time using asio4all drivers with this interface. The main issues with asio4all is the audio keeps cracking and glitching and it has a very high latency which not quite suitable considering my primary purpose is to record guitar.
In the behringer asio driver's control panel there is 6 performance modes which is basically for adjusting latency. The "highspeed" mode has lowest latency . I get around 2ms input and 6 ms output latency and 14 ms of roundtrip latency. If you are using studio one there is a low latency mode on the master channel which reduces the round trip latency to 9ms. Apparently I can't find the round trip latency for Fl and reaper( both these daws show input and output latency , but round trip latency also includes the time needed for Daw to process the audio which is only shown in studio one). Please note that lower latency mode introduces cracking and glitching the audio sometimes. If I use some vsts like STL tonality the audio cracks sometimes in highspeed mode. But in another plugin like ignite amps emissary I can crank on highspeed mode with studio one latency mode and get a decent audio output with low latency. Also note that I'm using the plugin along with booster, cab sim and delay plugins. Bias fx might be the worst plugin among other plugins to use with this interface not because of tone but since it is resource heavy plugin it introduces a lot of audio cracking and glitching. I'm still testing out many plugins to find out which has the lowest latency ,but right now emissary works best with this interface. And if anyone use this to record instruments with lower output like guitar ,violin use the instrument input (input 2 ) for recording. Input 1 is line input and if it is used instead of the other the recorded audio sounds like a bit darker cus it has a little less high end than the input 2. I bought this for 5400 rs and it is the best audio interface for this price range.
Sorry I had to make this review this big because I got no information from the internet regarding latency when using amp sims until I got this. So I'm writing this from a guitarist's perspective. This might be not applicable for someone like a vocalist, but I hope someone who wants to use amp sim plugins will find this helpful.
