If you need a good looking mic for video or shooting sessions, this is a wonderful microphone. Very nice value, really sensitive and responsive mic, and it looks fantastic on the stand. I was immediately fascinated.

Consequently, I simply appreciate the retro style. Shure also makes a vintage microphone, although the Vault DCN55 costs just about a half as much. I wasn't expecting it to be such a great vocal mic! It has been used for live backup vocals, and nobody has complained. Excellent travel case that is quite strong. Comes with a cable and a microphone clip to get you going right out of the box.

The astonishment I had when I received this microphone from Vault brand. I'll admit, cannot be adequately expressed in words. I underestimated it. The design and quality really caught me off guard. It is heavy and I like the look. built like a tank! But more than that, the audio quality is incredible! I was astonished by how inexpensive it was considering the cost! Additionally, while this product's quality is comparable to that of other manufacturers, the price is more than half as much! I also want to draw attention to the excellent protective case that comes with this microphone. Once more, Vault Brand has surprised and pleased me greatly.

I bought this mic as a less expensive alternative to my internet Sennheiser for home recording, I didn't have high expectations for it. However, the Vault DCM55 delightfully impressed me. It has a retro flair and appears just as good as in the pictures. The construction quality is unexpectedly strong, with a heavy, substantial feel. The audio quality exceeded my expectations, and it competes favourably with other dynamic microphones with same dynamic ranges. This is the best microphone currently on the market for anyone searching for a retro-styled, upbeat mic.
