Earlier I used to buy regular slinky strings but after trying cobalts I dont think I can ever go back... the strings stay in tune and intonation...nut most importantly they dont break no matter what you throw at it.
I use these with my Ibanez floating bridge guitar. I love the hybrid gauge that helps crazy bending on the higher strings and gives a more pronounced sound on the heavier strings. Perfect balance for shred solos and heavy rhythms. The cobalt strings seem to be more wear resistant and less prone to breaking than the normal steel/nickel strings.Must try strings.
