Great AD/DA Converters

Great interface with great quality preamps and not to forget CONVERTERS!!! These sound great and the headphone amplifier is quite powerful. Priced slightly high compared to other models, but completely worth the price.

Best in class - Roland doesn't disappoint

This is just a great all-rounder. Put up against the other 2x2 options at this price, it stands up in all categories, and doesn't suffer from the 1 or 2 drawbacks that each of its competitors have. The drivers are faster than the 2i2 - no tracking latency. The preamps on this one are the true secret - better than Presonus and Focusrite and the reason I bought this (I already use a Roland field recorder which puts Zoom and Tascam to shame) .I connect my MIDI keyboard directly to the 5-pin MIDI that the 2i2 is missing. It's a very dependable and solid interface for my film work.
