The guitar played well straight out of the box. The team has done a pretty decent job on the setup. The documentation (for GST) etc was spot on. The SilverSky is easily a contender even for the some of the high-end S shape guitars out there - barring a few cosmetic things, the guitar is totally worth it at this price point. The changes I will make are:
Removing one of the 4 retainer springs on the tremolo. (Not sure about tuning stability after that, but from the various forums it seems like a workable solution to the tremolo being very hard to manipulate like it is right now although the tuning stability is superb)
Also have to check if the pickups can be swapped out for gen4 noiseless ones....they seem a tad noisier than the regular Fenders (to me). But that's again a "Welcome to the world of single coils" deal.
The Customer service desk is good to respond within the hour (Don't expect the same for lower value purchases, however!)
It's my aspiration to buy this guitar
Excellent pickups, excellent ergonomics, and a stunning finish make this a very good alternative to the stratocaster. In my opinion, it is even better than a Fender.
The sound is out of the world! Pickups are excellent. Additionally, the guitar neck has a gorgeous polish and is quite easy to play. In terms of value, this guitar is a fantasy. Right up to the top frets, the strings sound clear. Playability is undeniably the best. The pickups produce the typical Strat tone. Highly recommended.
This "Strat" is ideal in every respect! sound, feel, and processing. The pickups sound amazing. On the other hand, a balanced sound is always created, regardless of pickup switch position. PRS performed a fantastic job by creating this fantastic guitar. If you are looking to purchase a good quality guitar, don't hesitate to give the Silver Sky SE a try, promised to deliver a very familiar "Strat sound" and a terrific playing experience.
This guitar was ordered, and it was delivered within a week. It's incredibly well-liked and was available in my favourite colour as well. a great deal of focus on details, and the details are very good. The pickups are outstanding. Very rich and clear. This guitar is highly recommended by me. For the price, you receive a PRS-quality guitar that is excellent and simple to play, as well as a gig bag.
There is nothing to criticise. It feels wonderful. The construction is excellent. The tone is amazing, the frets shine like crazy, and the fret ends are excellent. I'm happy with it, personally.
