Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend threatens to sue after alleging he wrote her raps

By November 19, 2015

Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels is planning to file a multi-million lawsuit over royalties from her three albums. According to TMZ, Safaree is set to sue Minaj for what he believes is his share of profits from 'The Pinkprint', 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', and 'Pink Friday', as well as singles including 'Only', 'Feeling Myself', and Minaj's remix of Beyoncé's 'Flawless'. Safaree is reportedly planning to present "a boatload of proof" that he was involved in her recording sessions including videos of him working with the singer, voice memos from recording sessions and hours of footage from studio sessions.
NMESafaree says he also has multiple witnesses to validate his contribution and he claims Minaj herself acknowledged his contribution by giving him an executive producer credit on her first two albums. Meanwhile, Minaj recently defended herself from criticism she received after sharing a video in which she appeared to tell a disabled person in a wheelchair to walk. The singer posted a clip of herself laughing and pointing a wand at a person in a mobility scooter before an individual saying "walk!". She was dressed as a fairy godmother in the clip which has now been deleted. Gossip websites, including Perez Hilton, claimed that Minaj had been ridiculing a disabled person in the video, but the star later took to social media to deny these claims. "Lol. That's NOT a disabled person and u know that. Are u that desperate for attention?" Minaj tweeted, before claiming the individual to be her friend in a scooter.
