A lot of options for killer tones from this head with it's three channels and push-pull EQ. Covers a lot of ground from hard rock to metal (it will do anything really, but I play metal/rock/shred) and it's got a great clean channel too for those who like that sort of thing ;). Suitable for anything from light crunch to classic/80's style hard rock/metal to tight modern brutal riffing & awesome liquid lead tones! Very nice sounding head that I am running through a Laney IRT 2x12 cab loaded with a a pair of Eminence GB128 Legend's (Greenback style). Plenty of power and pant-flapping punch when you crank it up, but it sounds pretty good at bedroom volumes too thanks to the built in power-soak which can take the amp output all the way down to a single watt. This is the newer version of this head which has a balanced XLR output at the back for DI recording/re-amping/connecting to powered speakers/monitors which is what I specifically wanted and I'm happy to say it's what Bajaao delivered. Came very well packed and triple boxed and shipped pretty quick. Reached me in perfect/safe condition. All in all an excellent buying experience from Bajaao. Thank you guys!
Quick sloppy video with my untuned guitar that was my first try with the XLR DI out which works great. No noise or hum and a clear strong signal from the amp. Definitely quite usable and I could get it to sound great with better EQ'ing/some post production and after tuning my guitar!
the Laney IronHeart I feel is very versatile! The amp is great round varying from blues to metal, but perfect for metal! This is my first tube amp, and what I fell in love with about this thing is that it lets the character of each guitar you play shine through. All my guitars have EMG's in them, but there are different wood combinations, and you can really tell a difference between the guitars when I switch them back and forth. The clarity and punch this thing has is AWESOME. Tons of gain on tap. So many features that actually work and shape your tone.
This two things are total killing machine for all the multi genre lover. I have been glued to it ever since it came to me. It's worth buying and it's worth playing. Delivery was late than what I anticipated but it was worth waiting for. FF courier was a bummer on shredding almost all of my outer packaging. All in all its fantastic.
