This is more than worth price for a vocal condenser. The gain staging seems a bit odd sometimes but the quality is more than adequate. I use them in live for the main vocals or for sitting vocals to get that crisp and standing out tone. This is also great for band recordings. Could have improved the capsule though a bit.
This mic needs to be held closer to mouth.A wind screen covering the mic is preferred.Yet to test in stage.
This is a Gem of a Mic. A must add in your mic arsenal. I am yet to test it in a live stage application, but testing it in my home pa setup, it sounds awesome. I am pretty sure that if you are playing with a band with acoustic drums, it will very much take in the cymbals bleed, also will cause a lot of feedback. However, if you are using it at home recording, this thing shines. Even if your room is not acoustically treated, it will take in very less ambient or outside noise compared to a large diaphragm condenser, owing to its limited proximity sensitiveness. I currently own the following Condensers along with the Samson C05, the AKG P120, CAD GXL 2200; and the following dynamic mics Shure SM58, Sennheiser E840, Samson CS1/CS2 (this too is a gem of a mic for the price. I highly recommend the Samson C05 handheld condenser mic. Best suited for baritone vocals, female high pitched vocals may sound harsh.
Best mic in this price segment.. Crystal clear sound.. Very good noise cancelation.. Apt for the price paid.. Wd recommend to beginners as rfor recording audio
first - built quality is good second- sound quality is also good overall satisfied with this microphone, and with service of bajaao .
The microphone is excellent, sounds natural and crisp. Ideal for Vocal,Guitar and other percussion instruments. But I received microphone cable of very poor quality along with this mic instead of carry case mentioned in the product description.
Dont underestimate this little guy, it's a beast! Records crystal clear guitars and vocals too (though its built mainly for instruments). Couldnt afford a large diaphragm condenser, but I am having no regrets.
