I'm madly in love with this guitar ever since I first unpacked and played it through my vox. lets start with the look and design - classic gibson les paul all over and I feel like I'm transported back to the 70's playing my favorite riffs and licks. the body feels light and the neck is extremely smooth. sound wise you will be searching far and wide for something that comes close to the mid range punch and sustain that this guitar offers. be it leads or a flurry of low notes - the sound is articulate and very pleasing to the ear and soul. go for it if you are an absolutely serious and die hard gibson fan..will not regret it for sure.
Gibson has always been a very respectable brand name in my books.I have been a touring musician for over 8 years and have never experienced a Gibson I haven't liked. However, with the T Gold Series the guys at Gibson have clearly displayed their mastery and crafted a guitar that is truly unique and elite for the lack of a better word. The Maple top offers concise tone dispersion without sounding to flashy. Gibson have used Granadillo wood on the fretboard and I love how smooth it feels, it makes playing almost effortless letting you cover more musical ground. The 2 Classic 57 Humbuckers harken back to the signature vintage tones we have come to love over the years. The gold hardware adds a nice touch of elegance to this guitar. Comes along with a hardshell that fits perfectly and looks great too.
