Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 USB Audio Interface

Behringer U-phoria UM2 is best audio podcasting and online meetings.
I am using this with my MX dynamic mic and headphone. Also it is serving as audio input/output foe my old laptop.
Direct monitoring works very well. Noise is also very low while recording, you just need to set it up properly.

I make edm tracks in my home and owning ath m50 x but my on board dac of pc is not enough to drive my ath m50x so brought it and it is definitely a game changer for me now gain is also lot more i can hear every bit of all high mid and low end and it is really good for bedroom producer like me just buy it

��� Product is very well built, small and yet has a good little weight to it, although its all plastic, it feels premium. ��� Best starter audio interface, remember that by upgrading to an XLR setup, your audio quality will increase 10 fold, but by switching to the next best interface doesn't do anything noticeable unless you buy something which costs a lot more than this. ��� I see a lot of people complain about noise, remember that no matter what electronic instrument it is, it will have noise no matter what you do. Although you can decrease it by isolating the interface, the cable to your mic from any other electrical equipment especially anything which run on high power like adapters/chargers/mobiles. ��� If you are still having a problem with noise, check all the equipment that you have individually, its most probably your cable or some interference. ��� It has phantom power which means you can use a condenser microphone as well. ��� The standard drivers are pretty decent, you can upgrade to ASIO4 drivers provided on the official Behringer site under software-driver-downloads section. ��� Please ignore anyone anywhere suggesting you to download some "Best" drivers "made by Behringer specifically for UM2" especially on youtube, those drivers aren't optimized, they sound exactly the same, except the gain is set low on them, so people get tricked to believe that their noise level has decreased and they crash quite often. ��� Please use an XLR to XLR cable for best results. ��� Direct Monitor option is a very useful feature to hear yourself with no latency. ��� Bajaao usually offers prices lower than other popular online stores like Amazon, although it has shipping charges which may or may not make a significant change to the final price depending on where you live. ��� Please use the offer codes on the website or the ones which get sent to you via email when you create an account on this website, You can complete additional tasks for more offers. ��� I bought this product for Rs. 3920. ��� The internal packaging is very good, a pack of Silica Gel is bundled for extra care which is always nice to see and much needed. ��� Always remember, you can do A LOT with this product, learn everything about it, tinker with everything available, learn everything before you even think of upgrading/switching/returning, cause that's what good audiophiles do. This part of the review depends on when and where you are ordering this product from. ��� PLEASE DON'T ORDER ANYTHING DURING THE PANDEMIC, IT TAKES AGES TO GET TO YOU ��� I've ordered this product on 02/06/2020, I've received it (took it myself from the facility cause they wouldn't deliver) on 20/07/2020. ��� That's a 49 day delivery, Amazing right? Lol I was promised a 15 day delivery, I had to write a crap ton of emails and call FedEx million times to even get noticed by them. ��� This delay caused a lot of discomfort, financially, mentally and messed up my whole plans. Especially in pandemic, it made me wanna kill myself. ��� The FedEx agents are very rude to talk to anyways (they barely speak or understand English) , moreover they handle packages like volleyballs. Best audio interface for home studio . Just go for it

I want to mention that I am very new to audio recording thing so I was searching for an interface in the web I found this behringer unit .When I saw the specs were very decent for the price I was paying. the price has increased so much but still the og basic audio interface

I would recommend this to anyone who is beginner to mid level. Certainly a worth buy

This product is exclusively for beginners. You should not expect too much enhancement of sound through the amplifier as it has very low employing effect. One of the major demerits of Beringer UM2 is that you can't use it Android or IOS. It is only for pc or laptop. I have previously used phentom with BM 180 and um2 is mild improvement over this. Anyway, it is good product for beginners and setup is very easy

The sound itself is recorded a bit dark through the interface. I primarily record guitar (electric and acoustic) and vocals through the interface. I'd rather suggest a focusrite as just the Asio drivers work wonders with the Scarlett. This, however requires it's drivers downloaded from the Behringer's website, which is no longer available. Without the drivers, you wouldn't be able to use the 2nd input on the interface and you will get crappy latency using the Asio4all drivers. If you're willing to search and download the drivers from a 3rd party, I'd suggest proceed with care.

please add a little money and buy the higher version umc22. Although the price difference aint that much, both build and performance wise the umc22 is way better.
