I have used the coated acoustic daddario strings before & really liked them. These are not coated like elixir strings using some polymer but rather different, these do last long & the tone isn't dull like elixir nanoweb set. Also the string tension & dimension is like regular exl120 set of daddario's. The set I got belongs to an old batch & doesn't look like the picture above but they are the exp ones for sure.
