The Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand is a must for any guitarist who needs to stand an instrument safely for any length of time, either at home or in a gig situation. Manufactured from hardened steel and coated in a matt black hard wearing painted finish, the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand is a tripod stand, making it a very stable guitar stand that can support a wide range of stringed instruments, not just guitars. Though designed for acoustic and electric guitars, with some adjustment, the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar can be used with bass guitars, banjos, mandolins and mandolas, making this a very versatile accessory. Height adjustment and the adjustment of the tripod mechanism of the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand is made via a pair of acrylic wingnut type screws that, when loosened, allow the acrylic brackets to slide into place, depending on the length of the instrument being used with the guitar stand. The tripod legs on the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand are covered with lightweight plastic feet that will help prevent damage to the floor surface when the stand is in use. In terms of offering protection to the instrument being hung on the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand, two of the tripod legs that come into contact with the rear of the instrument body are sheathed in a protective layer of foam rubber, also black in colour, to reduce the likelihood of chipping, scratching or scuffing the wooden surface of the instrument. Instrument necks are also protected via a similar method, with the U shaped neck support hook being covered in a foam rubber, making the Hohner HGS-S1 guitar stand a practical accessory you will want to use again and again.
