I have a mac based setup in which I'm using a korg krome as a sound module... there was this hum which would start an hour after the keyboard turns on. Then, I thought it was an issue with the keyboard. But, online searches led me to this wonder box. I am super satisfied as my sound is now crystal clear. No hum. It is the cheapest passive source I can list for stereo components. I can't imagine how clean the costlier alternatives would sound like, but for my purpose, this is more than enough. The one star minus is for the slight loss of high frequencies (I could be wrong) when the sound goes through the DI box. But, no hum at all. A very cheap solution to a major issue. I built my own balanced cables to use with this one.
